Is PostJob really free?
Yes. Posting a job, posting that you need work, searching, calling and renewing are all free. There are no paid plans, recruiter fees or commissions, and PostJob never charges job seekers.
How do I post a job?
Tap Post a job free, log in once with your 10-digit mobile number and the OTP we send, and fill in the job title, city, area, salary and a short description. It takes about 2 minutes and your job is live straight away.
How do I find a job and apply?
Open Jobs or your city page, for example Jobs in Pune. Filter by category, area, salary or experience, open a job and tap Show phone number to call or WhatsApp the employer directly (and email your CV if the employer added an email). There is no form to fill and no agent in between.
Do I need to log in to see the phone number?
No. Anyone can tap Show phone number on a listing. To stop number scraping there is a limit on how many new numbers one network can see in an hour and a day; if you reach it, you are asked to log in to continue. You only need to log in to post a listing, manage your listings or rate a worker.
Are the phone numbers verified?
Yes. Every listing is posted from a mobile number verified by OTP, so the number you call belongs to the person who posted.
How long does a listing stay live?
Every listing stays live for 7 days and then expires automatically, so the board stays fresh. You can renew it for free from My listings, and we remind you before it expires.
Which cities does PostJob cover?
176 cities across India. Maharashtra has the most: Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and 70 more. We also cover Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida, Gurugram, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and other tier-1 and tier-2 cities. You can type your own area or locality.
What kinds of jobs can I post?
Any genuine job across 800+ categories: drivers, security guards, delivery, housekeeping, cooks, helpers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, factory and warehouse staff, sales, telecalling, accounts, office and IT roles, and more. Full-time, part-time, daily work, contract and internships are all welcome.

Yes. Post that you need work with your skill, city and experience, and employers can call you. Workers and professionals can also create a free Karagir ID or Professional ID with ratings.
What is a Karagir ID or Professional ID?
A free, permanent profile page for workers (Karagir ID: trades and home services) and professionals (Professional ID: engineers, IT, office and other roles). It shows your skills, areas and experience, has a shareable QR card, and collects star ratings from people who called you. Browse them on Rated workers and professionals.
How do I get alerts for new jobs?
Open Jobs, choose your city or tap Near me, then tap Alert me. You will get a notification when matching jobs are posted.
How do I stay safe from fake jobs?
Never pay money to get a job: genuine employers do not ask for registration fees, deposits or training charges. Never share an OTP, UPI PIN or bank details. Meet in a public place first. Use Report on any listing that looks fake or like a scam and we will review it. More tips are on the safety page.
Are there agents or consultancies on PostJob?
PostJob connects employers and job seekers directly. There is no commission and no middleman; you call the person who posted the listing.
